Connecticut River Line - Greenfield - Cover 2011 Railroad Calendar Picture

Note: - Here we are on the Connecticut River line in Greenfield. Their run from Springfield complete, the crew will soon back down to Russell Street, where the switch tender would line the iron in to the West Yard (which was once the Greenfield Fairgrounds.) Next Engine. No.6 would be cut off and run into the roundhouse area for servicing. The roundhouse was located, until about 1919,where the Ford/Toyota dealership is today.
